holy shit! god that is horrible. I wonder what the cause of death was? OD? Heart failure?

Condolences to the Gurrero family. Man.

Wait, why does the date on that say October 13?

This leaves me speechless R.I.P. Eddie you will be missed.

"The North Cafeteria, named after Admiral William North, is located in the western portion of East Hall, gateway to the western half of North Hall, which is named, not after William North, but for its position above the South Wall. It is the most contested and confusing battlefield on Greendale’s campus, next to the English Memorial Spanish Center, named after English Memorial, a Portuguese sailor that discovered Greendale while looking for a fountain that cured syphilis."

Wow. Just wow.

I don't know what to say to this and I don't want to speculate on anything. My prayers go out to Eddie's family, friends, and everyone in the locker room. You were one of my favorites

RIP Eddie, thanks for the memories.

I was at the SD taping on Tuesday, I thought I'd at least post one pic of his last performance on tv.

I'll take it down if you prefer.

Yikes, what a shock. It's always weird when someone who seemed fine just goes like this, you can't quite believe it at first.

RIP Eddie, you were one of the best.

I think it's nothing more than getting the month wrong when posting the news. It's linked to from the main page, so I doubt it's anything suspicious.

Didn't they also find Pillman in a Minneapolis hotel room?

Obviously he gets the full salute on RAW and SD, I wonder if they will go a little of the Owen route and have some guys give their feelings and such, I know it is not the same as Owen dying in the ring, but Eddie seemed to be pretty popular with the guys

I also wonder if he gets a ten bell salute, or at least a mention on the TNA PPV tonight? I know he never worked for TNA, but he is a wrestler in his prime and all.

I'm at a loss for words ...

Eddie was one of my *favorite* performers in the WWE.

My heartfelt condolences go out to his wife and two children. Eddie will be missed.

I haven't posted on the forums in YEARS, but this has driven me to. I was shocked beyond belief when I just heard a few minutes ago. My hands are still shaking. And I was just going to do some WWE Fantasy stuff... I wouldn't have expected that in the least! But Eddie was one of my all time favorites. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his family, friends and the rest of the WWE.

R.I.P. Eddie Guerrero, you were taken much too soon.

I'm sure there will be a segment on both shows with taped clips and other guys sharing their Eddie memories a la Owen. There will not be a dry eye in the Solomon house - my wife LOVED Eddie.

Not to trivialize this at all, but what does Smackdown do now that they've lost Batista and Eddie?

I just had a(nother) horrible thought - Eddie took one hell of a chairshot at SD this week.... I'm wracking my brain to remember if Eddie got his hands up or not.

No, he didn't. He was just about to get them up when he got hit. That shot was no joke, either.

I hope it was that chairshot and not what everyone else is probably speculating right now

I hope it WASN'T the chairshot...

Consider how crappy D-Lo has always felt about being the one that crippled Droz, or how bad Owen felt about what happened with Austin... do you want to be the guy who killed someone with a too-stiff chairshot?

That would be a horrible thing to have to live with... I wouldn't wish that on anybody.

Not that it makes it better but a chairshot sounds easier to swallow than losing the battle with his personal demons.

We've all seen some brutal chairshots. I dont think that really had anything to do with it. Lets remember that Eddie had had a drug problem, and had used steroids in the past. even after cleaning up, his heart was damaged. He was found in his hotel room, so he probably had a heart attack last night in his sleep. At least he went out on top of his game (we was a lock for the World Title tonight of all nights).

Viva La Rasa - RIP

Wow, the last thing I thought I would see today when I logged in was going to be a wrestler dying never mind Eddie Guerrero. I feel so bad for him because he had finally overcome everything. I am just glad he got one World Title reign in. I have no clue how I ma going to tell the rest of my family they loved Eddie. I will miss you Eddie and my prayers go out to Eddie’s family.

I'm not a big crier, yet here I am with tears in my eyes. This seems so surreal. Why Eddie? Why'd he have to go so soon and so young?

Here's praying for that poor family of his, and especially those poor little girls.

God rest his soul.
